This touch-a-truck event supports Camp Sunshine and Camp Postcard. Kids of all ages get the opportunity to sit in all kinds of trucks and blow the horns. The event ends with a convoy around Scarborough.
January 1st is an annual tradition for the Waltons. The event raises money for Special Olympics in Maine by having participants jump in the ocean for the "Lobster Dip". In 2025 the dip was cancelled due to storm surge but we held our own dip in Ossipee Lake (video on TikTok).
Volunteering as a foster for a local rescue brought Cider into the family. We ended up adopting Cider when nobody else wanted him. Rescues and shelters need community support through transportation and other donations.
Helping the local community though mulch donations one garden bed at a time!
